Once an extension extends it does not pay to maintain the count, as there are more points that are subject to varying interpretations.  This is the Nasdaq futures chart with the same count as SP.

When the market gets to a large-degree turn one must relax the normal stop-loss.  On the other hand, my silver short is keeping me in the green.
