The daily technical composite is now in weak sell signal, cancelling the buy signal in effect for the past several weeks.
I put the details into a PDF and I guarantee that you can access via this link. ARCA is open until 8pm if you want to buy some short ETFs.

Steve,
ReplyDeleteLooking at the daily technical composite, when it was last at +20 last September. It fell, but the market continued straight up till Feb. What do you see that is different? Is it the I1?
Please comment, or email. Thanks! Mark

I1 was bullish then and bearish now. The composite does 1 of 2 things. Either it stops the trend for a few days or it reverses itself and falls to neutral. The experience last year did not drop the value of the composite itself, although it did stop the market dead for a few days.
ReplyDeleteMark, I want to add this to the Weekly. It's a serious question and it deserves better than a quick reply. Tomorrow. OK?
ReplyDeleteNo problem. Looking forward to it. Thanks!

DIA O/H/L/C completely outside upper bollinger band. Looks very rare, cannot find a time in the last three years.
ReplyDeleteSteve, what am are you looking at to get the 7/11-7/22 up move you are referring to?
ReplyDeleteShort-term timing component and I1 developed an 8-day lead, so 7/11 for the timing component and 7/15 for I1.
